Even if new people come around they sure as hell won’t stay for long. Unlike their previous collaborations, UDON’s SF6 comic run is serving as an official prequel to the game’s Story Mode, so they’re going to delve much more into what happened to Ken and hopefully give strong introductions to the wide cast of newcomers this time around. People saying it’s gonna make or break the chance for a new fanbase are stupid. Most of these comic variants will be priced at $6 for retail, but UDON is making an exclusive Kimberly in a bikini cover with a limited run of only 250 copies for $50. One that should immediately get the attention of fighting game fans is the B cover for issue #1, which features new art from the legendary Shinkiro showing off new portraits for Ken, Mel and Luke plus a couple of characters who look like JP and Laura. Starting on May 10, the main issues are set to be released once a week, and since this is UDON we’re talking about, of course they have a bunch of different cover art variants to collect.
